Just a general question here - it's really aimed at our Australian SS.. Buying from just the Australian dealers (ranging from Perth Mint, Bullionbourse, Bullionmark, ABC or any of the others not mentioned etc) and Australian buyers (Sydney, Melb, Bris, etc) - can any one here please tell me from their most recent purchase, how long it took from actually buying the silver to actually having it in your hand? I don't mean going in off the street, I mean ordering it online and then waiting for delivery? Perth Mint = ABC = Bullionbourse = Bullionmark = Just very curious
Bullionbourse = 3 weeks for bulk lot of ase's, no phone call but email advising of delay Bullionmark = 3 WEEKS FOR PAMPS, but they called me twice with an update etc so my mind was at ease, excellent customer service. havent purchased from the mint since since 2009 but when i was ordering from them regularly the delivery was one week, id imagine that would have changed now.
Many thanks to all you guys as I'm running late with supplier in Sydney. I had to call them to find out where and what was going on. I have ordered from them before but it's now about 4 weeks and I had to chase them up to find out what's going on? and their reply was could take another two weeks :/ I'll have to reconsider when ordering next time on time of arrival, because most dealers are close for price. The few times I have dealt with Steve at Aura it was " what would you like ? yes I have it? here it is? " no problems but I'm experiencing a bit of worry with this other supplier which will rename nameless for the time being :/
What about this question? There's two different companies trading as ABC - one in Melbourne, one in Sydney, and they're not related.
It's pretty confusing given that ABC Melbourne and ABC Sydney are two entirely different companies. The Sydney ABC is the Aussie Distributor for PAMP, whereas ABC Melbourne like everyone else has to order through the Australian Distributor. Was it Sydney or Melbourne you were dealing with?
Yeah ... I know that staff from both companies read this site from time to time. They take on board what is said here, particularly if they know it relates to them and not "the other mob" So it helps all of us .... One of the two is a sponsor here already, you may have noticed.
It's good to know that you guys in Melbourne are performing your duties to the highest standards. I know from running a SME myself that it offends me personally when I hear a client is not happy with our service too. I'm just concerned with an order I placed is not here yet and I'm really in the hands of what I truely hope is a business which will do it's upmost best to deliver it's goods soon. As I said I run a SME and when I say a time frame to a client it's applied rigidly otherwise I won't get any business from that customer ever again. I know shit happens and sometimes forces beyond your control can stir your off course but keeping the client informed is a MUST and in this circumstance I'm feeling uneasy.
Have made a few purchases from Bullionmark - all delivered within 3-4 days except in January when they did not despatch due to Qld floods and road closures - kept me informed the whole time. Was a relief to know that it was not sitting on a highway somewhere. Communication is excellent.
Bullion Bourse = 3-4 weeks Perth Mint = 6 days. Ordered 31/3 arrived 5/4 Which is why I'm more likely to buy from them, premiums be damned. i get into a cold sweat waiting for 3 weeks. The BB people are nice on the phone but they won't call you, you have to contact them.
