    Hi,

What is the best way to get coins from AU to USA. I have a few coins to send to USA, is FEDEX the best and safe option ?

Anyone traveling from Sydney to Dallas and can carry few coins ? Thanks for the suggestions

I always use Auspost... Fedex might be cheaper though.

Airport. International express. 5-7 day arrival. I live in US and use it all the time from AU.

Surprisingly never had an issue with sending any metal internationally with AusPost. Sent and received many kilo coins, bars and rounds and all delivered safe and sound.

For declaration an old stacker trick is to put it down as ‘metal sample’ for $100. Has worked every time for me.

What coins are you sending? May be some GST/tax implications somewhere along the line.

Thanks for the replay, I have a few Panda coins, all 1oz coins, maybe either send them or take a flight but hope the customs at US airport don't create an issue

that is not all, one have to collect and waste time there at the custom office and get your details put on the record too.
