    Hello everyone

I've acquired some 1g instabul refinery 1g gold bars not too long ago and I'm kinda worried they're not genuine.

On the bar in the pic, there appears to be spotting on the front with a little brown patch under the FI in "FINE"

The bar is non magnetic and the security seal is still intact. I cannot find a database for the serial numbers either, nor is there many examples of the red assay version around, so I'm a little worried. I just didn't think it was worth faking 1 gram bars.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I think red spotting is nothing to worry about .
I have seen 1g bars with red spots that are genuine.

I've seen red spotting on bars received directly from the Perth Mint.

Thanks for the help everyone, greatly appreciated :)

Got a PM from a member who lives relatively close to me and offered to have them scanned with his PMV. I'll post the results once we meet up.
