Wtb: the queen's beast 2oz BU coin

Hi,

I am looking for a set of the queen's beast series, 1x lion, 1x griffin, 1x dragon and 1x unicorn.

 

Just to help out, the Lion is on eBay for $58 with free post, and Perth Bullion have the Griffen and Dragon for a similar price and they will also have the Unicorn on their site very soon too, so you could get all 3 from them and the Lion from eBay, and all at standard pricing

Yes you're right I just looked and $68 is the cheapest now, sorry. Considering the Lion is no longer sold through dealers, $68 with free post is still a good price imo, and then you just have one postage cost with Perth Bullion when you buy the other 3

Just remember, these don't come in capsules, so you need to buy them separately if you want them in capsules. Perth Bullion also sell the capsules, in the coin accessories section

I have the griffin in capsules for $60 plus post, might be cheaper however to buy all them from perthbullion like Soprano said so you only have a single postage cost.

Will milk spot be affected greatly? will putting in the a capsule help? Proof set make much different?

or just go gold?

 

Don the think putting them in a capsule will help with milkspots, I have had other coins such as Perth mint kangaroos and maple leafs placed in capsules that have ended up with milk spots.
Definately go gold if you can afford it, in my opinion.

I ordered early October from them when it was 3 weeks wait and it’s still three wait.

 

Yep. Ordered mine 7 weeks ago from PB, no sign of them even being shipped. They seem to be having major issues getting Unicorns. Would avoid them if you want them in any timely manner.

 

Hi Kai I have attached pictures without the capsules. Without touching the rounds I opened one side of the capsule and took the picture and then did the opposite taking a picture of the otherside.

I think the Queens side of the round background is meant to have that kind of pitted look.
