They're a dealer, so everything they sell is genuine, but are you meaning something else because as matevis said they have nothing to do with this

    Is this actually 100% correct?

Edit: I'm calling bullsh!t on that statement, and you have been called out on that before.

^ yep. They were called out on it before and yet still say the same thing.... Word for word.
I appreciate what they are doing and giving us the heads up on items being sold, but you have to be factually correct to do so.

Never, I repeat, Never has Perth Mint issued a Letter A on a green CertiCard security case.
Perth Mint produced 2 different complete GREEN assay cards. 1st. CertiCard security case[see pic] and 2nd. The Perth Mint tamper-evident case[see pic]

So if it was green The Perth Mint tamper-evident case with the A preceding the number it is the genuine original according to this link. Is that right?

Issued from 2013, the second green card featured different security technology. Reflecting this, the front of each card displayed the words ‘The Perth Mint tamper-evident card’. On the back, the bar number was preceded by the letter ‘A’.

I think the confusion is that 99% of the people will consider both as certicards.
So if is says tamper evident case on the front it will have an 'A'.
If is says certicard on the front it will not.

Spot on ....Not much you can do. And I suspect, not much the police can do at this point either.

Has there been any resolution for Golden Monkey yet? Is Carloc making good on his word? Has the police done anything? I'm sure there is plenty of people on this site wondering what has happened...

Lets just hope it wasn't bought and tested from a certain dealer in Melbourne that has recently been charged by police in Victoria. Disregarding that, time that things were dealt with and a exchange of bar and money goes back to whence they came from. Carloc has been on the forum today, so the good news is he is still alive and curious about events. Really think the police can do nothing while you still have it in your possession. And your not got going to want to hear this, but they will most likely tell you to return it first. Hope this gets resolved soon.

Any update on the original trade? Has @Carloc done the right thing and made a full refund?

well I am but have been splurging on other forms of Gold and at the mo for birthday and xmas pressies, don't feel bad Vang, I have been watching your ingots but what you say seems to ring true, or maybe the market is cold on gold, I blame crypto to a degree and a dead gold market basically being sideways as has silver for quite some time now. Just leave your 5 grammers up until the weekend is over.
