    Hi there

Do all platinum koalas come the wooden display case? I bought some that didn't arrive with cases but the plastic holders have a lip in the same style of previous koalas I bought that did have the display cases.

Also will resale value be affected if they are supposed to have cases but there is no case.

    thanks!

I have koala in different cases, mainly blue & some brown. Some people do really like the clams but I doubt it would knock more than $10 off price.
Same as s1 Lunar, many different but original boxes but same series.
S2 Lunar are consistent. Anything pre 2009 non-consistent.

Thanks STC. The first lot I bought were 1oz and 2oz, I am guessing since the second lot is 1/2 oz that they are ex-set and hence without case.

Cases don't really matter too much at all. Makes storage more expensive if anything.

    Beware GST on proof sets.

If you really want a case, you can try contacting Perth Mint. I'm sure they will have something suitable.
