I wasnt sure the best place to put this post just thought this will do Just saw the new John wick movie starring keanu reeves it wasn't that bad imo but in the film you see a few bullion gold coins being used as a barter for deeds won't say to much about it just that it was entertaining to see if anyone watches the film try and see if the coin is recognizable. my guess is a philli
I'd say it's a specifically designed round for the movie like the G&S bars in the Looper movie. No info online yet and haven't seen the movie (hurry up TPB) but good to see it every now and again in big budget productions.
Watched the movie last night and remembered this thread. Found some more images and doesn't look like an actual coin/round that's in production; "Ens Causa Sui" is Latin for "a being that causes itself", or 'being its own cause.' The guys ober at TheRPF were looking to produce these for their own collection.
Really liked this movie... apart from the puppy bit It's been the 2nd recent movie usage of the basement cache under shallow concrete after Bruce Willis' character did it in 'RED'. P.S. House, you get a platinum nerd award for being on the RPF.
Haha it's where to go for any detailed prop info. Got the Looper silver bar mold from one of the members there.
John is back at it again with the gold coins in the sequel. Watched it for the second time last night and seems gold is more prominent than in the first one. Another great movie. Also watched Power Rangers where the main antagonists evil monster is made entirely of semi-melting gold. Spoiler: Spoiler Alert The Power Rangers win. Angel Grove is saved. Hurrah!
I am liking your post House but be aware I am only liking the first part, not the bit about the power rangers.
