Another small give away which SS members might want to have a crack at winning.

Just guess how many hard drives in this lot of 841 kg's

Correct guess will win 5g gold
if no one guesses correctly the nearest guess will win 1g gold

    ends saturday morning

Have you checked if any of the hard drives are still in warranty?

The Wd blacks, Wd and Seagate enterprise drives have 5 years warranty.

Plus, neither WD or Seagate request to see receipts.

All should have manufactured dates on the drives and if within 5 years old, it would be worth checking to see if it works and if not doing rma, and selling the returns as refurbished.

also manually check drives younger 6 years, because the original drives might have been registered later than manufacturing date.

Both have websites that you can check warranty.

    Seagate is postage to Sydney.
WD Western Digital -> call Customer Service, don't do RMA over the internet, if you call them they will give you free FedEx pickup. Via internet you need to ship to Malaysia.
