Apparently Cliff mentioned that in his report. Wanted to participate in the crowdsale but the website was so unprofessional it turned me off.
For anyone who uses or is interested in crypto faucets: If you need to kill a few seconds online while waiting on something, try these faucets for a little extra cryp. Follow the BTC/LTC link, sign in with relevant public address (your wallet address for receiving BTC/LTC ), and a counter starts rising in satoshi/litoshi. Every 5mins or more you can click "Claim" & fill in the captcha then submit. Counter total + any additional bonus % goes to your site account, if you reach minimum threshold by end of week (25000 satoshi or 500000 litoshi) they transfer it to your wallets address for that coin. It's pennies, but pennies from heaven given that they're free & appreciating in value. Visit at least once every day to receive an additional 1% bonus up to 100% but don't miss a day or it goes back to 0% BTC: http://moonbit.co.in/?ref=231aca095b5b LTC: http://moonliteco.in/?ref=4611c4dd4c82 EDIT: I found these faucets via www.badbitcoin.org that provide public warnings about bad operators and scams, they recommended them as safe faucets/sites.
I'm going to hate myself for saying that. Look at the price of VERI now? ICO price was 1 ETH = 30 VERI
Damn. How did I miss that one Did you get them in the ICO or via EtherDelta? It's the only place I've seen trading VERI.
Only place I could find it was on EtherDelta, the old wish I'd bought more at the time regret now as well but am quite a happy camper at the moment. Checked it out after 88 mentioned it and chased it down after reading the Clif High report.
How do you find EtherDelta. I didn't even know it existed, but it seems like a legitimate decentralised exchange??
https://etherdelta.github.io/ , Yeah it is a DC exchange and it took me a bit to work it out but I had no problems at all on it.
Nope, looks a bit suss to me, from a outright copy of bitshares to a long lead time on the actual release, something like a year or so. Current hike looks to be a FOMO moment that comes before it all falls down again. Mind you I could be completely wrong as well but I'm also quite happy with my coin portfolio at the moment s well.
coins are released every 24 hours and they are trading on kraken. has been some immediate profit taking from the first batch but price seems steady, not sure i would want to hold it long term but has already hit number 12 for market cap.
Fucking eos the fomo got to me and I made a rookie mistake I bought at the second round $6 us per eos then dropped 50% fml
We live and learn hey M8, I once bought 1000 Oz of Ag all at once from a very trusted and dear friend on these boards a few years back only to see the price drop year on year after I bought it, my FOMO back then was all about recouping near what I'd paid for it rather than looking for a ROI. I have since learned that a few small nest's of investment are a better choice than just a single one. I still don't go for the broad spread though, I know Gold, Silver, Lithium and Crypto's but SFAE about retirement plans or new energy, or any of the other so called must have blue chip stocks etc. My main risk at the moment is My four Daughters and My Missus, they are forever sucking me into the next most needed thing.... Long and complicated passwords on your wallets are your friend.
Yep true that I chalked them up as a loss and hope I can get some where close to what I put in I think I'll take the loss on xdn you never know it might die as for eos who knows maybe I have a excuse to hodl a coin for a year and see what happenes
Eos is interesting and a good model to display human nature. Eos ico is a marathon but it got jumped on like it was a sprint. The adrenaline dump has occurred and now fatigue is already setting in and its only week 1 of 50 odd in token release. To break it down further. 200,000,000 eos gone in first 5 days. Release of further 2 mill per day auction with what you actually get decided by whats invested in a 24 hr period Ie - if 20,000 eth invested breakdown will be 100 eos per eth. At this time yesterday approx 12000 eth were in the pool. Same time today barely over 3500 eth. At that rate todays investors will get over 300% more eos for their eth than those that invested yesterday. Whats it likely to be any random day 3,6,9 months from now? A good question is will there be renewed interest in last week or so of eos ico and see heavy investment at the tail end worthwhile enough to buy in around month 10 or 11?
I have invested in a cryptocurrency called bitqy - its traded on the ethereum network and currently has a value well under 2 US cents each. The reason that got me interested in the first place was the number of bitqy is limited and for every unit of bitqy entitles the owner to a 1/10 share of common stock in a Dallas based corporation called Bitqyck Inc. The company has an ecommerce and travel deals site plus other multiple sales verticals where I earn bitqy if I book a hotel or rental car, so given I travel a bit I thought it was a good idea at the time. Have thrown a few hundred UPDATE : THOUSAND dollars at it, As I am pretty sure now I know where it leads.... Update 03/Sep/2017 - bitqy coin is now on coinmarketcap.com, c-cex.com and coingather.com. Current price at time of writing - around 5 to 6 cents. Coinmarketcap now doing their mandatory "audit" of the new coin but know that 1.8 billion have been issued at at current price of say $0.05 would give a market cap of around $90 million USD, rocketing the coin into #65-66 based on coinmarketcap.com figures. www.bitqy.org
Plenty of other good projects out there. Made some money on EOS for a quick flip, but I'm not sure how their weird distribution model will affect prices in the long run. Also odd to note most of the trading volume was coming from Yunbi!
