Most of us have a few non-fiat limited mintage medals now so I was wondering what is your favourite?

I realised that there were not enough possible options to list them all, so please choose from what is available and if your #1 is not in the list please reply and list your absolute top #1 release.

You are able to make 2 choices for your top two releases.

Interesting how the poll is shaping up. The Panda Lunar concept is very strong I think and so far production quality from Shenyang has been excellent. I have noticed that few of these Panda Lunars come up for sale so people are keeping them for he core collection as I am. Those that do come up for sale sell pretty quickly and for strong money particularly the antiques that so far have 99 mintage for each.

Panda lunar series is the best from this list, and I hope we will get a full set of 12 different lunar animals in 9 years time!! As a second choice I have to say that I really like the 2014 baby panda, but the 2016 bimetalic expo panda is great aswell

Agree Panda Lunar is the best as series and I hope I once can display the two full sets of the Lunar circle, but as a single issue the Dragon and Phoenix is on the throne. It's a masterpiece and I have high expectations for the third design Andy ;)

It was a shame I could not list more but maybe we should do a poll for each year separately?

I recently splurged and purchased a few Chinese medals including a Temple of Heaven Panda 2nd issue, a 2016 Teddy Bear Dog medal, a 120th Anniversary of Shenyang Mint 500gm bar medal, a 2016 Giant Panda and Tiger medal, a
2016 Lunar Monkey Buddha Medal, and a 2016 Shenyang Mint Kunqu Opera - Peony Pavilion medal (I didn't receive in hand yet the Monkey Buddha medal) .... all of those I did receive are incredibly beautiful and equally the best for different reasons!

    Everywhere...simultaneously
I might have to agree with that.

There was mention earlier this year (I believe) in the forum about the next medal in the Four Beauties series of which Xi-Shi is of course the first of.

Anyone heard any new news of this?

Read the new thread of 4 beauties which I will create tonight.

AS I INFORMED WHICH NEW CENTURY MINT SPONSOR OF THE XI SHI HAS NO MONEY TO DO IT AT ALL.

Long time ago one reputable ebay seller also keep saying Lohan 2 will mint. BULLSHIT to attract ready customers who bought no 1. They have not enough customers to mint as per planned mintage. I have 2 sets Lohan PF68 for sell at low price too. Not likely the series will continue.

Yes, I have happy dreams. Lol. Sounds like you have a hoard? You release 1 at a time? 5k, then 10k, and 20k? LMAO.

What's even more amazing is the Xi Shi was minted by a private mint. Not sure if it was Shanghai BT mint. Not sure if it is the same as XSJ. They've produced some good medals too. These privates mints do just as good of a job as the main mints like Nanjing, Shenyang. Be on the look out. I understand that another beautiful Panda is coming out from one of these private mints, I believe the XSJ Shanghai.

I believe Andy is also coming out with the Temple 2 panda from the Nanjing Mint soon. He's shared pictures on another thread. They look great.
