They better return the dog for a refund. It’s no good at finding truffles.

Unless those sov's were wrapped very well in wax paper, I'm calling BS on that story...No other dug up sov from 100 years ago looks that shiny & new.

I suspect old mate may have acquired (somehow??) these sov's and is using the woofer story as cover.

I never take dogs (or kids if I had any) detecting in the goldfields.

Huge chance of them falling down a shaft which takes up a lot of detecting time getting them out and and any finds only paying possible vet/hospital bills.

    Parks and beaches for pooches.

I take my dog everywhere. If a client tells me I can't have my dog at a job that takes more than a day or two, I tell them I don't need their work.

I found my dog as a tiny starving pup someone threw away like rubbish. I picked him up and he's been with me ever since. Best mate I have ever had. He's made it to old age. He has spent his whole life in the bush/workshops/industry around heavy machinery and trucks. Yes, every day of his life he's been at risk of being killed, but he's not stupid and hasn't been. I often think about people who 'look after their animals properly' and lock them up in tiny houses or back yards their whole life while the go off to a normal job. What kind of life is that for a dog? No one can tell me he is not happy, any time I move he follows, and whenever I start a truck or machine he wants to come too.

I would not hesitate to take him gold detecting!!!

I agree they are the best kind of mates and i cant imagine life without my furry friends.

We have rescued some great dogs over the years and have 3 now, and they live with 3 rescue cats as well.
They go everywhere with us and have the run of these woods but i dont take any of them to work with me.
Theres too many hot hazards and traffic moving by when doing asphalt and road work, step across that yellow line you might be road bacon.
Im already risking my life half the time but i sure do miss them.

Yep. It's shocking what some people do to their dogs. I take the slight risk of him getting hurt rather than be locked up in a back yard all day like a jail. He is a bit smarter than the average dog and he is very wary of machinery and traffic. He will also do as he's told and will wait patiently to the side when I tell him to.

Well looks like you have grass and dirt around and he wont step in 400° crackseal id say hes happy with that haha.
There are lots of dogs on jobsites here in Colorado normally, a very dog friendly place.

My daughters bf is a plumber and he roughs -in and finishes custom homes and he always takes his dog Tosh with him. He just hangs out all day but is pefectly content doing that.
