Basically as the title says, it's a carded UNC 2012 poppy, which I'm listing on behalf of a family member - I'm simply operating as the go-between and interpreter from Kiwiese to real English... Theoretically it was meant to have an unlimited mintage, although only 503,000 were ever actually produced. In almost perfect condition - the top right corner has the smallest bend which you probably won't even notice, along with a tiny fold in one of the spines which will very likely smooth out, but I'm not going to try to deny any cosmetic marks - (it's currently in NZ, which may well be a plus or minus ), although it can of course be sent anywhere throughout Australia and New Zealand. PM for privacy.
503k mintage was actually for the normal circulating variety, this C mintmark would be much much less, maybe 15k-30k.

Yep SteelHand is correct on mintage. I loaded up on 2012/2013 $2 about 5 years ago in what seemed way too much, $200 for the carded and $150 for PNC (which I think is nicer). Thought about selling but I don't really see these coming back to earth.
I sold most of mine as I thought it was a bit of a bubble and that coins were inevitably going to go the way of the stamp. I might still be correct, just a few decades too early
I reckon you'll be correct, eventually. I don't see hype from RAM, Auspost, Facebook being sustainable too much longer before attention starts to shift.
