No not counterfeit it's just Antonio from Pagnani made these and im not supprised at all and now he's dropped off the face of the planet. At one stage he was buying up all ebay scrap silver to make these.
You clown...you misunderstood, turn the coin around...it's 666 or 66.6% silver.....you actually got an extra 22%...lucky you.
Unfortunately i did when he first came on the scene and bought in when silver was $40+ There was membership thingy that you joined upto for a certain amount of $$ and you got some rounds or bars every month or so but turned out to be scam realy. Lucky I didn't sign up for that lol
Well he hasn't gone too far. A little research. New website same story [but different] if you know what I mean. https://www.empirebullionmint.com/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/antonio-pagnani-8b0856128/?originalSubdomain=au
Oh so that's where he's at, yes same story but a bit refined and same looking product. Interesting...
I have purchased some and it is expensive but looks very nice in hand. Its a bit of a shit show but delivery was 3 days to Brisbane. Oh i have just xrf one of the Fortuni coins and yes its 999.
Wow! Was it a batch thing? An honest mistake! Thinking that all silver bought for the smelting pot was .999 silver. But was not.?
Whatever it was, there's no excuse for not have QA/QC measures to prevent this if you're establishing a name for yourself.
I would suggest not fake but it is well know that Pagnini in the past has supplied under weight 1oz and bars not 999 fine. Actually purity is all over the shop. Doesn't make much difference over collectability though.
