For some reasons, pm stackers like to time, me as well. I don’t bother to time with my stock purchases, which I do averaging all the time. Sometimes, I will average until the price drops 50% below my first buy price, which was what happened to energy. Of course, my energy portfolio was more than 10 times the size by Dec as compared to Jan.

I think platinum is going to be a very important metal. The Chinese bought huge amounts in March. The US has been misled by Elon Musk on platinum. Perhaps he is also buying. Who knows? :D

Yes, I really like the theme of the new U.S. Mint Proof Platinum coin series. Those premiums though on the 2021 Proof Platinum Eagle......I wish they weren't so high.

I find the pt QB premiums more reasonable, at least for me, but I've decided to only buy bars after Pt breached $900 more than a year ago, other than a britannia which I couldn't resist. Pt coins are very pretty, more so than silver. Perhaps due to the slight grayish tone which is very cool.

I was there when Pt was 2200, it went to under 800
in Mar 2008 to Nov 2008

so if it callapse again from 1200 to 800, this is nothing

2008? That's a very long time ago. This time round, it can rise to $4000 and then fall to $1600, but premium is 20%, so actually $2000. :D
