Not sure if this is the right thread/place, but while cleaning out my dads old lockboxes, i came across 3 bars he bought probably in the early to mid 1980's. I'm wondering if these have any collectable premium, or if i'm looking at just silver value. The bars are from C Rhyne (and associates, Seattle Wa.), 25 oz each, and (to me) pretty bland looking. They're numbered, but not sequential. Any ideas?
not very unique but still collectable.. probably will get 10-13% premium max... Depending how you're desperate to sell them..
This group has members from all over the world, but it's Australia based and I imagine the vast majority of the members here are in Australia and New Zealand, so I am guessing you'd have far better luck posting this in US based forums as well, if you're looking to sell. Yes, these bars are definitely collectible here in the US, I've had one for years. I've seen them selling on ebay over the past year or so for premiums I wouldn't be willing to pay LOL
Hi everyone, Love the old poured bars in this thread! I was fortunate to pick up a Harrington kilo and was wondering if anyone had seen one like it before - it has a date and serial number but no big circular logo or DCL counterstamp.
