    That's very funny. And rather ironic.

    I've highlighted the bit that may apply to you.

    Yes a tendency to use human reason and rationality instead of asking the people on the idiot box to think for me

    Is bitcoin carbon neutral?
    How much energy would it consume if used to replace existing checking and money transfer systems globally.
    How much data would the blockchain contain in such a world?
    How long till quantum computing removes / negates ALL the security bitcoin currently affords?
    Who has the authority to modify the way the bitcoin system works to deal with these and other issues?
    Could changes to the way it works break it?
    Would it then be another system, and not actually bitcoin... and how would people migrate wealth from one system to the other?
    If I buy a house using bitcoin (without interest), how long would It take to pay it back? What would bitcoins price have to be like to provide the features of a monetary system that could actually WORK as a financial backbone to society? Can bitcoin be transfered / checked and verified, WITHOUT an internet connection?

    Apparently it can. Some really keen nerdy types have played around with radio waves and have managed to transfer BTC over a few hundred kilometres.

    Aaaaah, "The Corbett Report".

    >Puts down his oversized Coke and Big Mac and changes TV channel to "The Bachelorette"<

    There, that's better. Less insulting to my intelligence.

    @mmm....shiney!

    Yeah I suppose a broadcast signal would count... nice!

    The main arguement behind that one is the qualification of tangiability. Bitcoins fungability (divasbility) is often touted as a huge positive but its doesnt technically meet the ability for being physical (real)...

    I suppose you could mark a usb drive with x satoshi on it along with all its access codes and hand it to another person, but It seems like cheating...

    Codes on a drive hardly count as physical
