I am guessing that it's not just an investment. Perhaps Russia is trying to get rid of their dollars, so they buy Bitcoin. They are probably facing problems with the sanctions and a bunch of dollars piled up, while they are having severe economic problems at country level. So they are buying Bitcoin? Just a guess... They're not fools to see how Bitcoin's price is increasing. Perhaps it is them pushing it up. On the other hand, China seems to be an enemy of Bitcoin. So is Thailand. Although I think cryptos are rather a pyramidal scheme, I believe that more states and major companies/investors will jump aboard. Thus, pushing BTC even higher... But because it is rather a speculative asset with nothing behind it, I expect BTC to crash deeper than it did in the past. It's a Tulip-mania. But one in the Johnny Mnemonic/style, so it feels cool. Looks serious technically. But only technically. Economically-speaking it is nothing more than a speculative fiat digital "trinket". Testing may work for original virus, but if it's the uk and african mutant, testing will be useless. They may not even be detected by the test, and will spread like crazy in winter weather, especially the african mutant.
