Case and point about the 5 oz pieces being a turd to flip. Lol. The starting price was 249.00. This person has to be even or at a loss after fees and shipping? Whoa! Lol. Whereas the 1 oz for 23.00 and the 1 oz 70’s for 59.00 - a no brainer!! Just a teaching moment for the newbies. Check out what those a fetching today!
It was a stupid move with the pricing from Apmex and an even more stupid move from flippers to not see this was going to happen. In the end, I at least hope that those who picked it up to collect are happy with their purchase and what they paid for it.
I'm looking like you have been barsenault, but this seems to have gone very quiet since the 5oz release. I'm guessing the Spring, but it's just a guess .
I think you’re right! I believe the first came out around the spring, they usually follow the same pattern.
Number 2 appeared in May this year, and number 1 was around the same time in 2019, so I think we're a few months away from any real news.
They are beautiful pieces, and the label is nice...I know, buy the coin, not the slab...but the slab is a beauty too.
Thanks Trinkets. Greatly appreciate the insights. I'm sure you're fully loaded with the Poland mint stuff? LOL. Not me. I sold all mine. Won't buy another turd from them again. The worst. I don't think they know how to complete a series, or even how to market a series. Terrible. How many have they started, and never completed? I think they completed one or are in process of completing (4 horsemen) BUT they had no choice, otherwise, you wouldn't know if it was 4 or 10 horsemen. I'm glad they are sucking wind. They killed the golden goose, and they deserve what they sucking on. LOL.
lol I still have a few older coins from them. From our old discussion, I still like the old ones I have (I don't have many), and debated selling them off, but I still like them - for now . But I stopped buying them a while ago. Ignoring the fiasco with their pricing and their shotgun approach to series like you said, their designs have been getting worse anyway. The last "man on horse" (or "woman on horse" in this case) Woman Warriors series was a funny copy of one of their own designs from the Four Horsemen series. There's better coins to buy from other mints at better prices imo. I'm curious to see the next Black Flag, and hoping they keep the quality up.
