    Hi All,

A lot of you guys know me. I sell all sort of stuff - bars, coins, whatever.

Well this is my last listing. This is the thing I had been holding onto, hoping I didn't have to part with it.

Hope it goes to a good home.

ITEM: For sale is 89 world silver coins in a blue folder. A number of the coins are over 100 years old. All have silver in them. These were all used as currency in the past. I am talking stuff from 1915 USSR, 1915 Serbia, 1892 Ceylon, 1890 India, 1893 South Africa, 1920 East Indies etc, stuff from Nazi Germany etc.

    IMAGES AND ITEM LIST:

Here is a link to an album showing images of the folder and coins: https://imgur.com/gallery/xaD7PLu

Here is a list of coins: (PM me your email if you want list in excel)

ASKING: Rather than valuing each coin individually (I don't have time), I am asking for multiple of spot price. Total silver weight is 21.44 oz. I think 2 x spot price is good for these and under replacement cost - especially if someone was to try and buy them 1 or 2 at a time and pay postage every time. So not every stackers cup of tea, but I think its a good buy at $1448 + postage.

    NOTES:
    1. Any questions just ask, 2. I offer face to face in Brisbane, 3. Postage cost and risk goes to the buyer, 4. First public buzz secures the item, 5. Not interested in selling individual coins. 6. Personal note; bars of bullion come and go - but over my stacking life, this was always my treasure. This is what I would show a friend or what I wanted to keep to give to my nephew one day. Just my opinion. 7. I can email coin list in excel if you PM me an email address.

Thank you for your time and consideration. HD.

    Hi Investing for kids -

Yes, Ill stick around. My belief in PM's hasn't changed 1 bit. I am going liquid now to buy an investment which will be 'engine room' generating cash flow for future PM's. Jeez - if anything, recent events of past 12 - 24 months increase my beliefs in PM's. This stuff is like the red pill from the Matrix movies. Once you take it, you can't un-take it haha.

    Hi ChipMunk -

Correct. Well spotted mate. Thank you. I can't seem to amend original post, but for the benefit of potential buyers - ChipMunk is correct (of course :)

Yep that is GB (not NZ)

NZ has the Patu's crossed - Maori Warriors jade / pounamu; greenstone hand weapons.

Any offers @ $1250 + post? Perhaps this is the wrong market? Appreciate any thoughts / feedback.

    Regards, HD.

yes, the best market to sell at your asking price is to list each item individually on ebay, alot of the the coins (majority) i would sell in bulk lots for a fraction over spot, the rarer coins only have greater value is they are in high grade
i honestly think you will have to put a tremendous amount of work into them to realize close to what you want (photograph, list, post each item)

Thanks all for the feedback. My pricing was clearly off.

    Spot is $731.00. Final discount = spot + 10% i.e. $805.00 + postage.

Which is really like spot + 5% given the folder itself is worth money.

    Regards, HD.
