We've got two smoking hot coins on the way from Poland Mint here in the 2nd half of 2020. Don't miss the 2nd issue in the Woman Warriors Series "Valkyrie" and the 3rd release in the Ancient Calendars Series "Heavenly Stems & Earthly Branches". Both coins are struck in ultra high relief for exceptional detailing and then further accented with a rich antique finish.

Tsk tsk tsk......... what a pity!

    Superior minting technology.
Bur ruined by noob designers and horrendous quality control.

That's odd... I've been dealing in Poland Mint products for several years now and I've always found the quality of their manufacturing to be top notch. Now designs vary and everyone has their own styles and preferences, but in terms of quality? For their high and ultra high relief collector coins... I haven't come across any obvious defects (yet)

Quality may be top notch but .............

Example of slipshots in design -
    "Art in Coins" = Good
    "Cnt ni Aoirs" = ???

There are many such errors (ancient Chinese characters) on both sides of the coin.
The least they should have done is to send the draft for a proper proofreading before productions.

This coin is a private commission from a 3rd party. I doubt that Poland Mint had any oversight on the design and were contracted solely for the manufacturing. For sure the 3rd party designer should have proofed the characters / wording for correctness.

A lot of the Poland Mint High Relief issues are projects from from just one or two prominent design shops. That is why they often have the same "feel" from one series to the next. I have to agree with Redback about the sultry outfit on Valkyrie though... it's pretty hot in my book.
