you can thank them for the virus. It exposed China and the US for what they really are, and the world needs to see it, be disgusted, and move on. Poor Hong Kong though.. Taiwan will fight better.

ok it's not just me finding him hard to understand. I thought maybe the 5G tower next to my place was starting to mess with my brain.

Though i don't want to complain since his English is better than my Mandarin.

To be honest I admire your persistence and dedication. If I was in your position, I would be so frustrated with all the wasted time and effort put into converting us "political infidels"

its never about changing your own believes, you can believe whatever you wanted to, its your choice and rights, we always respect your individual choice and freedom
but the presumption of me not willing to say certain things does not make me the one to carry the burden of proof etc
frustration does not give me the solution
the outcome of truth can set me free, those who seek will find it

You've neither justified your position nor is it justifiable.

    That is clearly bullshit.

He's winding back reform, has no interest in ethnic groups being liberated, is erecting barriers that increase the hardships faced by his people in both work and life and is on a course intent upon destroying China's prosperity.

Deng understood what was in the best interest of the individual and set about a period of reform. Xi is an evangelical communist, willing to subordinate the interests of the individual to some flawed ideology that actively thwarts any advancement in the human condition.

its no bull shit, you can choose to follow or reject... its your own choice,
did anybody or jin force your mind to choose the wrong choice
you made the choice and live with it

you can have your opinions on this, since its another subject that follows
I prefer to celebrate the freedom win first

Again, your position and the position of the CPC (and Marx et al) is completely unjustifiable.

Communism ensures individuals never reach their full potential by reducing society to a collective. Like swarms of bees, schools of fish or flocks of sheep there is no room for excellence.

When was the last time the Chinese invented anything?

They can't because communism is regressive, whilst capitalism is progressive.

we can see the tallest outdoors lifts there, my legs would be shaking using them... just too high and cold
the fast trains, will not caused my head to spin, the slow train would knock into my head on my bed while sleeping, tik tok tik tok, the wheel hitting the steel (the sound) and for 9 hours hearing that same sounds ...

On the topic of innovation, Australians have invented the black box flight recorder, the cochlear implant, cervical cancer vaccine, polymer bank notes but more importantly the wine cask and Vegemite amongst a host of other things. I think most of those listed have occurred in the last 50 years or so.

In contrast, the Chinese invented paper (about 2000 years ago), bricks (apparently about 6000 years ago), bulkheads say about 1000 years ago an goldfish domestication (maybe about 1800 years ago). Among a whole heap of other things that they haven't done for ages.I don't think they invented murder, but they had a perchance for breaking the bones of small girls and tying their feet. Oh and they also invented sparrow extermination. Needless to say that would never have been successful if there wren't a billion peasants armed with sticks and who, being fearful of getting shot by Mao's henchmen took to that task with relish. Probably kept the Great Famine at bay for another 6 months too.

Yep, and underneath are the houses and bones of the families that the bulldozers ploughed through to construct the buildings and roads and rail that the Chinese built copying Western innovation. Nice work communism. I can see why you're so proud.

Not sure the comparison is apt. There's some real excellence and benefit in the collective behaviour of bees, fish and even sheep. I'd reckon the difference is the sacrifice of the individual is truly for the greater good rather than for a privileged elite.

Bees, fish and sheep don’t innovate. They never rise above the level that their instinct endowed them with.
