I recently got a one gram IGR support our troops that is in assay from Bullion Exchange. I had it tested by an XRF scanner yesterday and it kept coming back plated. She tested a half ounce and quarter ounce American Gold Eagles. They both tested perfect so it wasn't the machine I don't believe. Anyone else hear about any of these being fake or faked? Thanks so much for any help you can provide.
Very interesting can you please share photos? I have read of fake IGRs but I didn't think there was much of an international market for them. Was it a hand held XRF device or different?
It was a hand held big yellow scanner. She did it many different ways but it kept coming back as plated. As I wrote the two AGE's came back fine. Here's a front and back photos
I haven't never seen that branding before. If it is fake would you be willing to sell it to me so that I can inspect it and compare with other IGR bars? Hopefully I'll be able to do a write up to make sure we can expose IGR fakes.
I got it in a trade. The guy said send it back and he'll send me a different one gram piece. He said a maple gram. So I'm just going to do that. He can figure it out.
No I got it in a trade and the guy said send it back and he'll replace it with a maple gram. So that's going to be my plan of action. He's a good guy and he'll make it right. He can figure it out about it being fake or not. I'll keep this thread posted though on what he does with it.
Jack Ma is a modern day king. I bet Jack Ma is buddie buddie with Trump. Not that he'd be worrying about some thing as trivial as this.
