Parabolic moves often revert just as quickly and to a point below the original starting point.

' . . . something that isn't going parabolic has become viewed as worthless.'

    I think I understand this. And I agree whole-heartedly.

And there's a bunch of related stuff I'd like to patiently talk about. (There are crypto geeks, me and others, who are oriented to wealth preservation, to cryptos that just hold their value rock solidly.)

IMO the parabolic norm is a pre-manifestation of inflation. As you know, money has to filter from the top to the bottom for the reduction of purchasing power to be truely noticed. Right now because the top of the money food chain is investing and speculating we’re seeing the inflated money supply overshadow the meaning of true value in markets.

There will be ongoing amazing profits to be had (wealth transfer) for us that follow the trends and flow of money. But for Joe on the street who doesn’t have a stake in any of this.. well the burst bubbles will wash over and inflate the entire economy

I'll risk making a dill of myself. I t h i n k that heartastack is right: ''ongoing amazing profits."

But I t h i n k that Silver 260 is also right in a 'philosophical' sense: if everything just goes parabolically upwards in value . . . where is 'value'?

Property bears don't think everything is going to go up. Share market bears likewise.

When (if) I ever have grandkids, I'll happily play tooth-fairy with them and gleefully perpetuate that myth.

If they want to know about trickle-down economics, they will have to read The Guardian. :D

^ if the theory of trickle-down-economics actually existed, it would advocate that I give the money to their parents, in the hope that they may pass some on to my grandchildren. :D

'Trump’s possible re-election will not be the result of his ability to resolve the socio-economic problems, rather it will be the failure of the opposition to even recognise them.'
    https://www.rt.com/op-ed/498449-us-election-trump-economic-landscape/

A friend explained the 'Bradbury Effect.' Bradbury won a gold medal 'cause everyone else fell down.*

It's the future!! It's the one-eyed guy in the land of the blind. It's the Enormously Incompetent Mob beating out the Just Slightly Less Enormously Incompetent Mob.

It's a potential second term for Trump.

*And I mean nothing snarky here. Mr. Bradbury is a world-class skater.
