It may well be the only one. Harrington were known to refine for private individuals, so its possible it was made for someone. Evidence points towards this as the stamps are obviously not made for this size pendent. Refer to docs on AE on the 1000 GMS with no serial. https://allengelhard.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/20170613_224552.jpg https://allengelhard.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/20170613_224646.jpg
We just bought this 1981 Harrington / Darlington Commodities Ltd (DCL) counterstamp 1 kilo. I love how poorly made it is No doubt they were rushing to get these out when the Hunt brothers were doing their thing.
Your DCL bar must have been made on a Friday to been made that poorly coz my two DCL bars are also from 1981 but unlike yours they are not poorly made. And more proof of Friday is one of my bars was made around 100 strikes after yours. Blame the Friday rush
Haha funny. Back in my manuacturing engineering days we usually attributed these problems to Monday mornings after a big weekend and a possible hangover.
Cool DCLs, here's an RHA, I haven't been able to find any info on it, any chance anyone knows anything about RHA stamp. Cheers
Raided the last of my deposit boxes and found these little beauties. Thought I might share them on here
Just not fair! No wonder I couldn't find any more Bigfella was hoarding them all!!!! Fantastic collections mate!
I remember there was a lot of Pagnani hype a year or so ago, I sold all my dragon buttons at that time, I'm a bit weird and like my stack to be in the best home where they get the most love..
