I am offering Monster Boxes of PAMP silver at spot price. Anyone wishing to purchase can do so in person or contact me to satisfy themselves as to my bona-fides. I have been operating a business in Perth for over fifty years, I have a well-established profile which is available for all to see on the web. As a trustee for the superannuation fund selling this silver, I require either payment prior to dispatch, or an enforceable & accountable document giving me legal recourse in the event of the purchaser reneging on any agreement, particularly the agreement to ship at buyer’s risk.
The tyranny of distance. Is it the security risk of trusting the seller or the risks/costs of transport that preclude you from making a purchase? Cheers Mike
As i think most on here could agree i am not one to shy away from doing trades of decent dollar value. But to do a trade for close to $20K with a seller with no trade feedback on silverstackers and one that i have not traded with, who is located on the other side of the country presents risks and i have to look at the risk to reward ratio. Yes these are very well priced but there are risks on my end that i am not willing to take for the level of reward I would however have jumped on it as a F2F transaction, meeting at a secure location where items could be tested Dont get me wrong, I am not saying that there is anything untoward about the offer and hence why i would have been happy for a F2F trade. I have not even considered the transport costs into the equation as i didnt get that far in my thought process Good luck with the sale, on a side note. How many PAMP boxes are we talking about?
Vouch boyscout, especially when he knows there's bargain to snap-up! He probably cashed-out all his super for metals... He'll probably call-in for Brambles to go with him on this deal.
"He probably cashed out all his super for metals" What is that meant to imply? "He'll probably call-in for Brambles to go with him on this deal." Once again. I'm sorry, what do you mean?
Hi mate, have you talked to bullion now? They often pay spot price. If you have no luck might be worth asking them, they are a reputable dealer so you woukd have no risk
My overall experience of Internet forums is not great, which is why I don't post unless I have a good reason. I have monitored this site almost daily for nearly a decade and I know some of the members are are adults and business people - those are my target audience. I understand a reluctance to deal with someone one doesn't know and I am fine with that. There are mechanisms available to check out the bona-fides of a business and the reputation, reliability and creditworthiness of an individual. My offer to sell silver bullion was predicated on the assumption that a prospective purchaser would perform due diligence and request further information. Irrelevant comments and snipes are not helpful.
If we had an idea of how much metal you're selling, I could gather the funds and make a road trip to Perth and back. PM me if you like.
How do I send PM? Initially I had decided to release 75kg but if you want more that's fine. How much do you require?
The question of how many PAMP boxes was to work out if it worth my time and effort to engage a third party that i trust in Perth to take collection on my behalf. Sammy, All yours mate
5 boxes or 75kg is pricey for me. However, I could fly to Perth and come back on the train with the metal if I can get a commitment for 4 or more of the boxes. Cost would be about $3,000 in fares or $40 a kilo or $600 box on top of spot, plus my time at $10 kilo. It's starting to get bigger than Ben Hur but only way to do F2F.
