I've been burnt by juniors so have been focused on mature producers with proven reserves as a leveraged paper gold play.

You just want producers only? Not explorers or developers?

I don't own any producers, except the GDX.

Producers, explorers and developers. As long as they're listed on the ASX.

ADT, CYL, CHN, EMR, CDN and ADN.

Edit to add: had MML but sold them for a loss because Duterte worries me.

Maybe a bit of both if you're unsure. Some now and some later.

Any recommendations? Rather stick to mid to large cap with proven reserves.

I took a week to consider GMD. My stock investing funds are just what I've got left over from living expenses/realised profits so had to make a choice and decided to give them a miss for now and went elsewhere. Really was interested in Alkane's position on their board, I thought that was a very strong point. I think come May they're planning on making some kind of announcement am I right?

WAF is a nice hold @wrcmad

GMD is my side-punt for a possible takeover. Not sure of a May announcement.
WAF has been stellar this month, and I think still has plenty of legs.
BCN is just starting to leave the station (me thinks :) ).
All of these are turning producers at the right time, and all have good management that seem to be doing the right things.

It would be worse to wait in the long run. The gold bull market is well under way.
Doesn't mean there won't be a few pullbacks, it's generally going upwards long term.

    Only BCN..

Have played with many but cowboy boards skimming profits etc.. hard finding the great resources with good honest boards.. so Beacon Resourses has been the one i have stuck with.. just started producing this year. very much a rising star.. get this... $900 AUD ASIC (cost to produce an ounce!) supernormal profits..

Cant beat physical.. but CERTAIN miners might 10 bag in the next leg up imo
