Up for grabs is a lovely 1/10 oz XAU round which I obtained at a Melb meetup from one of Captain Kookaburra's offspring. It is way cute and been hiding in my sock draw for ages so still in BU condition. Total closed mintage for these was 500. Bidding to end Monday night April 13th at 7.44.59pm. Postage at winning bidders cost and risk and only within Aust due to current situation (sorry o/s people). F2F if you can get through roadblocks or live somewhere close to Ballarat. I will add or edit details if I need to later. Opening bid price $1AUD, increments as low as 1 cent giving the opportunity for winning bidder making the runner-up even more frustrated and disappointed if desired.
Anyone know who the Native person is or their tribe? Seen the image on US coins but never bothered asking his identity. I reckon he looks like Ben Mendelson but he's an aussie actor so probably not.

I bought this about 6 years ago and put it in a 50cent tube and forgot about it. Never checked out the history so thanks for info. Thanks for all bids so far and all the best to all doing their best right now on our planet, whoever or wherever you are or whatever you are having to put up with or adapt to I wish you well. Now go wash your fkn hands please.
When we commissioned this gold coin from Golden State Mint in the US we pinched the Indian Head design to ensure that people knew this was not Aussie made. Just like the Buffalo XAG coin. Unscrupulous dealers in Melbourne and some other states were pretending to mint local, while offshoring. This coin, as EM has mentioned, was originally my sons, and I still remember the little tacker standing up and auctioning it at a Melbourne Silver Stackers meeting many years ago.
Barring mishaps this won the auction that finished about 30 mins ago. Congrats I will chat after I plug my other auctions ending real soon.
