Looking to buy up to $15K value in gold coins (or potentially bars). At the lower fractional end is preferred, but I don't want to pay too much over spot so possibly restricted to 1/4, 1/2 and 1oz. Open to offers at even lower fractions though, but definitely won't consider anything at the other end over 1oz. Need to be easily recognisable coins and ideally not prior to 2000. more recent the better. I live in central Victoria, but would be happy to meet between Melbourne at somewhere like Woodend, Gisborne, Sunbury etc if that worked. Due to the amount involved in an exchange, I will only deal with a well established member on the forum. Thank you to the people who came back to me, and apologies for the delay returning pm's. I managed to get what I was after from Bullion Now in the end (thanks bubble bobble for the recommendation). I've always bought and sold privately in the past, but gotta say those guys were amazing. I tried over half a dozen dealers multiple times, and most just went to voicemail/full mailbox message. One I did get through to wasn't particularly helpful. Then I spoke with Michael at Bullion Now, and he took the time to step me through where things were at with supply and what my best options were based on what I was wanting to achieve. Made the two hour drive, spent a bit of time there (sorry if anyone on here was in the queue outside the door due to distancing rules!) and got what I needed. Great operation, and those guys have a customer for life now.
