    Whats worse is last week the Aus Gov signed a deal with USA for emergency fuel and oil supplies which they will hold with a 40 day delivery time frame. This is bullshit!

    oil price goes up- fuel price goes up instantly. oil price crashes- fuel price stays the same.

    WA has a world class LNG field so why the f@rk are we so reliant on oil based fossil fuels?are we slipper kissers to the U.S. and their whores the Saudi ? Come on please someone explain

    is the ratio like 1000 Petrol/Diesel : 1 LNG or is it even higher

    Australia could have mandated LNG like Brazil mandated Ethanol but no foresight here

    I have a lpg car but LPG is dissapearing from servos so this will be my last one as it is too much of a PITA

    Australia needs it's own refineries again after the Australian unions that work for Beijing made sure that they were shut down. A supply from the USA might not be a bad idea because currently all of our refined fuel comes from Singapore via tanker and the Chinese Communist Party could cut our complete national fuel supply with ease.

    Whats the point of refineries if we cant get crude oil?
    We have many LNG refineries.... Becuase we have plenty of LNG

    currently at work is the US sanction on Iranian oil, and secondary sanctions on countries that buy Iranian oil
