    Silver value is approx $22.19 I am happy to pay spot + 10% ~ $25 depending on how many and postaI cost

    I see Slavaja has these for thirty each good quick buzz at spot and flip.

    pity I missed that buy by 30 minutes

    Sales forum can be concluded quite quickly when prices are at or close to spot crowns, kooks,lunar , bars .... all seem to go. Seems pre decimal 50% taking longer to sell the 92.5% moving relatively promptly

    They used to be give or take $35/ea on the forum just a year back or so. Renniks 2019 says VG $32 -- EF $60.

    You can buy these at $35 from the dealers.
    For example Stirling and currency in Fremantle
    I believe spot +10% is a fair starting point
    Prices of many coins a few year ago have changed considerably
    Sometimes you can buy them at spot !

    Yep agreed - Andrew Crellin at Sterling sells 1937's at $35 in average circulated. On the forum I bought a bundle a while back for $35/ea but these I think were quite a lot nicer. :cool: You're right, for lower grade that you're looking for $35 is high.

    @jultorsk

    Is the second photo a picture of the crowns you purchased on the forum?
    That lot looks great.

    I believe the 1938 is collectable in any condition with a mintage of around 100,000
    Whereas the 1937 montage was around 1,000,000. Plenty of well circulated,cleaned , excessive bag marks, edge damaged etc examples around.

    I like them because of their size. ( I also like the 5 peso 1947/48 Cuauhtemoc )

    If anyone has any better bulk lots I could be still interested please pm with details

    @minimilled

    That said there has been some deals on these items and other bullion items on this site.

    Dealers can be good to deal with. Have you any experience you could share regarding selling lower grade coins to dealers ?

    In my own experience , and others stackers I speak with , most stackers would consider spot plus a modest premium a logical alternative to the prices generally offered.

    Another alternative for both buyers and sellers is the coin auctions and bulk lots, Some lots up to 50 coins, are relatively common. In my experience most buyers of these bulk lots seem to cherry pick any better grades and sell on the low grade examples.

    In summary I have purchased from auction houses, dealers and silver stacker members. I agree 1937 crowns are worth more than spot and my initial post was to reflect that belief.
