I've bought into the Singapore government savings bond that works like a term deposit but gives an interest rate of about 2% a year when I bought it earlier this year. Bonds that are inversely related to interest rates are too risky. Even that, I'll be watching if there's going to be any trouble with the singapore government or if they may change the terms of the redemption.
Here's the thing. For many years up until the late 80's / early 90's, Aust Commonwealth Govt (inc their corporate own entities ie Telecom) and some State Govt's from memory used to issue retail bonds to the public. Note: Interest rates were much higher back in the day....Now days, it just easier to borrow the full amount from a Wall St bank or the PRC....but if the Commonwealth Govt offered a min of 2.5% (scaling up with time band of bond) I suspect there would be a retail market......but it ain't going to happen. For those who can remember.
Where we currently are in the stockmarket.... SPX chart below. Looks like a perfect time to create a false flag event... perhaps kill an Iranian General for example. Lets blame any market drop on that instead
Silver Spike my AR$E. only when we see $100 up-days will we know that Silver is FREE from the Manipulators.
So it went up. It looks like a bump. Or a hump. Before the dump... But what gold did, really is a SPIKE

It was first used by American forces after the 2003 US-led invasion that toppled dictator Saddam Hussein. It later saw American troops stationed there amid the fight against the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria. White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said the White House was aware of the reports. "The President has been briefed and is monitoring the situation closely and consulting with his national security team," she said. US President Donald Trump is aware of the reports.Credit:AP Prime Minister Scott Morrison has spoken to the chiefs of the Defence force and the Ministers for Defence and Foreign Affairs regarding the reports out of Iraq. He will be receiving further updates as more information comes to hand, a spokesman said. Mr Morrison has also called Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese to keep him updated on the attack. Footage posted by FarsNews Agency, regarded as the 'semi-official' news agency of the Government of Iran, claims to show a missile attack on Ain Assad air base in Iraq's western Anbar province. Iranian English-language television first reported the attack on the Ain Assad US military base on Wednesday. Press TV says it's had confirmation from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps that it was hitting the Ain Assad air base with "tens of missiles". State TV described it as Tehran's revenge operation over the killing of Revolutionary Guard General Qassem Soleimani. US forces could not be immediately reached for comment. More to come with AP
Agree, the Iranians are nice people but just because of the Ayatollah’s impossible Persian empire ambition, everyone will suffer. This is why democracy is important.
Do you have a better plan? Just look at the irrational response. Now it maybe Zio-American, tomorrow it maybe Zio-Russian. Or maybe the Ottoman Empire?
