There appears to be lots of people getting out of metals currently.

I'm open to buying a 2nd hand Sigma Metalytics machine if anyone is looking to offload at a decent price.

    Cheers

I am interested in buying one too. Was looking at US eBay but postage and GST is unfavourable. If someone is interested in bring some into the country in bulk I would interested in one.

yes exactly! the USD to AUD conversion is still far to bad for me to justify one from the states yet.

I assume one of the super users on this forum must own a store that could buy a commercial quantity to then sell - I think they will go like hot cakes. The postage from US is the killer if we all bought one individually.

Just my two cents, don't bother unless you're buying the Pro. The standard one can be spoofed.

TLDR: Given that PMV only checks restivity, a good fake may pass but wont pass on weight or dimensions. Hence using PMV Pro that adds dimension and weight measures protects from a fake that may pass resistivity test on the original PMV.

I hv the original and still gives me 'peace of mind' so do not deter if you can't fork out $2-3K for the latest/pro version as your instict should also come in play when purchasing anything
