Sometime ago I bought a financial/ cryptocurrency domain name for $2395 with intention of flipping it for profit. It recently got appraised professionally and listed at $6995 on a marketplace where I submitted it for sale. Domains are a good investment too if you flip premium names like the one I acquired from a domainer with millions of dollars in his portfolio. If you're interested in buying my domain name lmk and I'll send you the domain name details.
What makes it worth far more than double the price you paid for it? Jewellery often sells for far less than professional appraisals. Frankly I think getmywallet.com is a terrible domain to pay that sort of premium for, three words and it's like 'get' has been tacked on already because mywallet.com wasn't available.
I've had a few domains that were clever but never sold. I think you need to connect to one of those quasi-fraudster domain sellers to get anything moving.
your not wrong it is a terrible domain name i wouldnt see it selling for more than $100 he is a spammer / scammer or has been fooled out of his $$$$ and if by some small chance none of that abve is true -- there is no chance in hell it has more than doubled in price in a little over a month.
What do you mean by "flip"? One can buy countless domain names and now there are more TLD's as well. You can wait for a decade to be able to sell a single domain name. I know about Sedo and Afternic - marketplaces/domain sellers. Do you know any better ones?
