I don't think anyone has sold out, more they realized they had breached release date of 9 September and removed them quickly from sale
well, too late now, my check is on the way, and I bought a handful, and platinum is $30.00 higher. Lol. I guess I got lucky. And a dealer definitely pre-sold a 100 in a flash. I'm sure that the price will be a lot higher than what we got them for. I guess it was put up now, and ask for forgiveness later...good luck to all, I will be on the hunt for more, for sure.

As with virtually all platinum coins of this type, there is a moderate premium. I believe the premium was about US$100 per coin.
Yes, probably that's what happened. I called them today to see if they are honoring early orders like mine from yesterday; they said yes.
