The 2019 Gold & Alternate Investments Conference is being held at the Sofitel Wentworth Hotel, Sydney from October Thursday 24 to Saturday 26, 2019. To coincide with this event, we have gladly accepted an offer from ABC Bullion to host our National Silver Stackers’ Meet within its boardroom at Level 6, 88 Pitt Street, Sydney, on Wednesday evening from 6pm, 23 October. 7 WEEKS’ TIME. We anticipate some early addresses from Bron of ABC and hopefully some interstate and international guests to throw some light on the current events in the industry. Captain Kookaburra will talk on the Melbourne stackers’ environment and I’ll discuss Sydney. Seats will be limited so to keep track we will be charging $10 to hold a seat or $20 on the night if there are any remaining seats. There will be a lucky door prize! Finally, we will put an agenda together in the next few weeks and suggestions are welcome from the coming participants. Early responses to the Meet will be appreciated. If accommodation is required from interstate visitors, with numbers, I might be able to find a package at a nearby hotel.
Mid week is a bold choice, that's a school night! I will check but may not be able to get time off to fly down and back.

Understand the choice of day considering the lead in to the conference. Tough for people with a day job but let’s see what can be worked out.

I could do the presentation I gave at the Uni of Western Australia crypto conference a few months ago on why cryptocurrencies are unlikely to usurp gold's role and why neither gold or cryptos make better money than debt backed bank created money. Controversial and juicy enough topic? Would take about 25min. Yes the idea would be that some may be coming up for GAIC anyway. Alternatively, if people would just want to fly in for the stackers meet then it might be worth to just stay a night and pay $49 for one day of GAIC and catch Egon Von Greyerz and the other speakers https://pmis.eventsair.com/gaic/agenda.
