Too much dick waving about conspiracy theories in the other thread.

So why not just delete them and clean up the thread instead of locking a thread that could obviously be used to keep everyone updated on the stock status?

ABC appears to be out of their own 1kg and 5kg silver bars. On back order till mid to late Sept 2019.

I spoke with Perth mint yesterday and they confirmed they had massive orders and were out of stock and had a backlog on 1kg and 100oz silver bullion bars and would not be back in stock for 3 to 4 weeks.... Crazy

They just told me to check back in 3 weeks time...

Perth Mint Allocated storage is now showing a huge number of 1kg bars in stock.

I count roughly 200 1kg bars available. (hard to count with the scroll bar, but I got to 100 and it's about half way through). 11pm Thursday 8th.

Same as my local dealers, suddenly lots of inventory appeared when they had been "sold out" for months before.

So if they had 10* 1000Oz bars (wholy cow thats large) divided between the population of Melbourne thats in lockdown.

5 million people 0.002 Ozs per person. Whole city locked down. I'd say there'd be a decent amount of people in Melbourne worried about inflation.

But yeah in normal times 1000Oz would be extremely non liquid I imagine.

I suspect many of those bars won't leave BullionNow's premises but remain in storage on site for SMSF's.

Yeha but nah, shot attracts GST.
Happy to be wrong, but I would worry when I turn up to the dealer that is taken into account with buy price so they pay 10% less?

Nothing to worry about Folks, It was just our esteemed leader Chairman Dan Andrews who purchased the lot to try and combat the coronavirus.:p

Since nothing else has worked, Dan has come up with the brilliant idea of going around house to house with 1000 oz bricks of silver and forcing
us poor peasants to swallow a small sliver of silver to cure us of the dreaded COVID 19 virus.:D

As a matter of fact I think I can hear the authorities forcing their way into my home right now.........

I've previously noted that there's no shortage of gold, at least for now.
