Hi all, I'm looking for some Pagnani Silver. Does anyone have any they wish to part with. I will pay a premium for any size. I already have a 1 oz 2012 Dragon and 1/2 oz button as shown below. Would love to get some of the larger bars. Post here or PM if you have any on offer. Thanks Would love to get some of the larger bars shown below.
I have a 1oz 2012 Year of the dragon button with out its cert/card and numbered 667 if your interested.
These look like gorgeous bars, if anyone doesn't managed to sell to Jonesy67, I'd definitely be interested in getting my paws on a bar/button.
Wow, these are awesome! Surprised this is the first I've heard of them, I'm guessing they attract a hefty premium?
ha Here is some of their story but not too sure of the validity. Could also have been the best marketing scheme ever. The Pagnani Mint Family The Pagnani Family have been Minters by trade for centuries. According to recent study, the actual establishment of the the Pagnani Mint began in 1866. It is not known why it had taken so long for the Minters to establish as records only mention the date of establishment and not the reasoning behind it. Regardless, production was limited to family members for political purposes only. The mint never achieved public distribution and it had been this way for 150 years. It wasn’t until 2010 when descendants of the Pagnani Family revived the mint and slightly altered the mintmark to suit modern times. The original mintmark simply was the Pagnani Crest which is the 2 Lions on either side of the shield with the shield underneath the crown. In 2010 the current Director of the Pagnani Bullion Mint added a circle around the Crest and inside that circle added the words ‘Pagnani Bullion Founded 2010’. In honour of the actual founders of the mint, it seems fitting to again change the mintmark to state the correct establishment date of 1866. This is now the current mintmark of the Pagnani Bullion Mint Pty. Ltd. The venture seems to have failed circa 2013.
Just beware that the early ones are normal ounce, not troy. Apparently "the centuries old mint" didn't know what the troy oz is. All I can say about them.
It would be interesting to learn more about this. Do you have something that doesn't measure up. Pagnani stated on their website that most items are hand pours so may have a variance. Website quote: NOTE: As a designer handcraft bullion coin, it is impossible for all coins to have the same weight. There will always be a 0.01g to 3 gram difference in weight over and above its minimum. I have purchased a couple so will weigh when I receive them. But the 2 that I already have and weights are: 1. THE LIMITED EDITION LONG DE CHUAN REN , DRAGON 1OZ 999 BULLION COIN - 1.03 ozt 2. Pagnani 1/2 oz round silver ingot - .48 ozt & .53 oz [This round is not listed on the Pagnani website but the same stamp is on the front of the Pagnani Investor Club Brochure so guessing its a member only round]
No I don't have the examples as I don't collect such c**p. When they were trading and it was all the rage on eBay people realised that their bullion was 28g, i.e. normal ounce. Pagnanin said: "It's an ounce - right". People said: supposed to be troy ounce. Since then they started to stamp ozt and made it real troy ounce as it's supposed to be. TLDR: If it says ozt - it's good. If just ounce - weigh it - could be 28g. Good luck with the "collectables".
