A Lysimachos tetradrachm from ancient Greece. Although I love foreign modern bullion for possible profit, the ancient coins are now my favorites. Since I only buy stuff really cheap, the opportunity to buy nice ancients is rare for me. So far I have been able to acquire only a couple of collections since my introduction to ancients. This looks better in person because my photo skills are bad. Easy XF condition. Can still see original finish on the coin. Also a Thrace "imitative" tetradrachm with great original finish. And an Alexander the Great tetradrachm made during his lifetime (Zeus' legs are side by side, crossed when made after his death generally).
A couple of poured Scottsdale bars, always wanted one of the 5oz and 10oz varieties You_Doodle_2019-03-18T07_14_01Z by Silverbandit007 posted Mar 18, 2019 at 6:14 PM
I always like these bars. Figured they must be acid dipped to get that finish. Also reduces the giveaway.
Pick up a few of these Sydney Precious Metal 1oz bars, don't know anything about them maybe someone on here knows a little info. You_Doodle_2019-04-18T21_40_02Z by Silverbandit007 posted Apr 19, 2019 at 7:42 AM
I got a $100 bag of walking liberty half dollars but no reason to take pics of that Haha. They wouldnt measure up to alors sweet poured bars anyway! I want some of that!
Sometimes rounds can be very creative at a reasonable price. Private mints go an extra mile to compete with "monsters of industry as Perth Mint
I like all the different silver rounds out there and I've collected many. Much more creative and more fun to look at than boring ole overpriced ase's or the other same ole same ole you see everywhere. Those and bars will be the first stuff Id sell off and the ase's I do have although I'll keep my favorites of the generics. Unfortunately over half my stack is constitutional silver and that will harder to part with. I have an affinity for junk silver for some reason and I cant ever pass any up. It has its hooks in deep.
