So i have the 10g credit swuise bar that im selling also listed on Feebay. This user signed up YESTERDAY and then sent me this. I have a bad feeling, but I dont know what to do as i have literally sold one thing EVER on feebay. Should I ask for Bank deposit so he can't to a paypal chargeback in case it 'goes missing'. I'm really torn. Like I need the money, but I have a feeling if it's too good to be true it probably isnt. Any views would be greatly appreciated.
I think ebay/paypal say you're ment to send it to the address displayed on paypal. I've had this happen to me, someone asking if i can send the item to a different address. I just said either the sale can be canceled or ill send it to the address which i received from ebay/paypal. To many scam these day to send to another address. Just tell them you have been scammed before and no long send to other addresses.
anyone selling on gumtree will get a few of these requests per day, they are just wasting your time. it works by paypal refunding their payment after you have sent the goods.
yeah, i chatted with ebay and they were super helpfull. did you know you can block buyers? My concern was that once received they request because 'fake goods' or some shit like that. like I bought 2 thinks in the last 3 months that i was 90% sure were fakes. once they arrived and i confirmed they were, immediately started the buyer protection process. and both time have been in my favour. I provided pictures, weight and size discrepancies etc. well at least i now know a few more things thank fellas
