Magnetic north has been moving rapidly the last twenty years. So much so they had to repaint runways some years ago and readjust navigation coordinates.

It is not a trivial matter ...

"Methamphetamine" was shortened to "Meth" as it is easier to say with no front teeth.

Babylonian (Sumerian) mathematics developed a system based on the number 6. At the time "the wheel" was a major advance. The circle was subdivided into 360 degrees and the calendar year into 360 days, with 60 seconds and 60 minutes as time intervals in a 12 hour clock.

    900 x 1000kg = 900000 kg.
There are (about) 25 million Australians.
    Therefore, 25 000 000/900000 = 27kg of toothbrushes per Australian per year
Average toothbrush weighs around 20grams *guess*.
That means the average Aussie disposes of 1350 toothbrushes per year
    Or 3.7 toothbrushes per day

However, if the truth is the average Aussie sheds 27kg of toothbrushes per year
And the average Aussie has just two toothbrushes per year, then:
The average Aussie toothbrush weighs 13.5kg

    Just reworking the figures.

    900 x 1000kg = 900000 kg. :)
There are (about) 25 million Australians. :)
    Therefore, 25 000 000/900000 = 27kg of toothbrushes per Australian per year o_O

    Therefore 900,000/25000000 = .036 kg per Australian = 360 grams

Average toothbrush weighs around 20grams *guess*. :)

That means the average Aussie disposes of 1350 toothbrushes per year
Or 3.7 toothbrushes per day o_O

That means that the average Australian disposes of 18 toothbrushes per year or 1.5 toothbrushes per month.

Lol. Looks like I had a bit too much to think that night!

    Where 1kg = 1000g

    .036kg is 36g o_O

    About 2 toothbrushes.

Which amazingly is about right! (I hope!) :)

Marsupials are usually left pawed, especially kangaroos. Female dogs and cats tend to be right pawed, but males tend to favour the left.
(fair to say my maths has gone to the dogs)

We have a female dog that (seemingly exclusively) turns left, at least when on the beach. She has one white paw, which is also on the left. No doubt that is the explanation.

You can see which paw is favoured by observing the lead paw. A dog will always lead with one paw or the other, or favour a paw to retrieve an object.

Left pawed dogs are harder to teach commands (sit, heel, etc). This appears to be related to independence, rather than inability to "learn". They are also less controllable and tend to be more aggressive

I suspect most silverstackers are left pawed.
