I am literally still in the air. Checking in on Qantas WIFI. Salivating at the thought of double mirror rams. Will be an interesting meet up that’s for sure.
Also an 80s Harringtons 1oz Round. allengelhard suggest only 2000/3000 produced, rare and hard to find.
Never thought to do a video in advance. Will do that next time. People need to bring a load of $ that’s for sure. I have about thirty lots of interesting items. Mostly silver but some gold, and some non bullion collectibles. I don’t want to take anything home. Well, maybe other than that Harrington round and maybe some rare XAG. I hope there is an ATM there. I may need to hit it. Looking forward to a good meet.
So how did it all go? As it turned out, as expected, I had to work. Hence me not being able to confirm participation. Seeing as nobody has posted, I'm assuming you're all still at the pub pissed?
Was a good afternoon with lots of bargains sold at auction time and not a bad turn out from the local stackers Definitely recommend you try and come along to the next one possibly in three months time Watch this space
A big thanks to the guys who came from Melbourne to make this happen Michael & Mark thank you Looking forward to the next one or potentially the first ever Stackers’s meeting in Auckland
Definitely worthwhile with first Malachii and Captain Kookaburra sharing stories of the Berlin show, then Ainslie director Paul told many interesting things about their services (incl the AI based Trading Signals). Moving on to the auction with some choice items (most of which were scooped up by two gents - some really great deals) and the D'oh price giveaway from Perth Mint. Also we were treated to fondling a rather exclusive set of some of the rarest (if not the rarest) XAG rounds, what beauties they are! All and all a well spent 4 hours and recommended to join the next time. I think the auction proceeds covered the room (with some members donating items to sell and generously pitching in with cash) with some leftovers for the next meet - tentatively in 3 months' time or so. Many thanks to all who organised and participated to the event.
Thanks for the update. By the time the next one comes around I won't be doing weekend work, so I'll definitely be there.
