I checked out my etherscan transactions and noticed a deposit of NCASH a couple of months ago. Must have been an airdrop. Free tokens I didn't even know I had.

Yeah I've got a couple of random coins air dropped that I had no idea about too. Last time I checked I had two and neither of them even came up on CMC lol they're basically worthless and they can just sit there forever as I don't plan on doing anything with them

I have also had a few different random ERC20 token airdrops over past 12 months. Virtually worthless atm.

its a new way of promoting icos, called promotion tokens. you may have seen some bobx, these are not actually worth anything unless you participate in the ico and they can be used as a discount when buying the real tokens.

Yeh I’ve had a few, I usually end up sending them to Binance as dust and converting them into BNB. I’ll keep an eye on the NCASH ones though, that’s one of IOTA’s competitors.

It's been quite a while since I have even checked - might have to have a look later today when I get the chance and see what is actually there

I have not been on any exchange since earlier this year , just sitting , waiting and hoping atm , but I have used Binance many times and what I noticed there and do not like is that there is always dust left over after a buy/sell and you cannot withdraw that dust b/c they have min withdrawal and I would not buy or sell that particular token/coin again so I lose the dust (if that makes sense to you :) ). Happened maybe 8 times.... dust does not ammount to much but it may be worth a fair bit in years to come.

You can convert the dust to BNB, then either hold, withdraw or sell.

Just make sure the “Hide small amounts” box on the wallets page is not checked.

Also, if you had any Eth on BTC Markets you would have received some free OMG. I had .1 Eth that I wasn't aware of and received 4 OMG.

I came across this thread (link below) over 12 months ago on Bitcointalk forum. I totally agree with the authors take on icrypto. The rise at end of last year and then the crash was all planned and 100% manipulated. The Bilderbergers Group done very well out of it.

There is no such thing as a free market these days. Stock market , precious metals , cryptocurrency etc etc. We are all playing/gambling in a digital online casino which is controlled by trading bots/algos etc. Best place I have found where you can sorta see the trading bot in action margin trading is Coincap.io . It is all a digital illusion and is not decentralised as claimed.

I read an article or it may have been a youtube vid a while ago which implies/suggests that satoshi n 1 million BTC , which have never been touched/moved , are actually owned by the American Government. Add to that total all of the various BTC forks which increases the total crypto holdings 10-15% at a guess.

If this is all true then so much for decentralisation.

If we call the current BTC price AUD $9,000 x 1,000,000 BTC = 9 trillion AUD $. Plus add value of all forks. If the whale/manipulator bumped the price of BTC alone up to AUD $100,000 that would give a BTC + forks balance of over AUD $100 trillion. This could be a greater figure again if more than 1 million BTC are held.

If I find that article/youtube vid I will post it.

    By my calculation 1 million x $9000 = 9 billion.
Not sure that's enough to bid/manipulate the market up tenfold and thus create the richest being or entity ever.
Then again if it was on youtube then it has to be true.

Thanks for pointing out my math error :)

It is probably not true ... just throwing the possibility out there... anything is possible.....
