    The next Melbourne Meetup is scheduled for Sunday 3rd June 2018 - 2.00pm.

    Location to be announced via Private Message.

    A private message will be sent to those showing interest and those that have attended before with the exact location details closer to the event date.

    These meetups are the perfect opportunity to learn from experienced fellow stackers.
    Get to meet and talk to like minded people and get to know your local Melbourne Silver Stacker community.
    Not to mention it's perfect opportunity to pick up a bargain. Feel free to bring anything to buy, sell, swap or trade.

    The next meetup shall include:
    FREE ENTRY - Normally $5 per person.
    FREE PARKING - Normally $20 per car.
    Meet and greet - Catch up or get to know fellow stackers both new and old.
    Swap and trade - Bring along items to swap, sell or trade.
    In house Auction - Bid on items up for sale in the auction.

    It was a good meeting. Captain Kookaburra gave an interesting talk on steganography, specifically on hiding bullion in plain sight. He also recommended the book "Makers" by Chris Anderson, and spoke on how small scale production is becoming more economical.

    Good auction with a variety of bars and coins.

    Wow, I couldn’t believe my eyes when a seller actually paid someone to take an item!! The greatest deal ever. :)

    Great time again - and yes bargains galore. People even being paid to take large, flat sovereigns :) . Where else but a Melbourne Silver Stackers meeting!!

    Best thing at the auction I think was the one only "error" XAG - what a bargain!

    Next one is scheduled for the 5th of August. Put it in your diary!

    There was no bid for an item at the reserve price, and someone commented "you would have to pay me $5 to take that home". So the seller handed the item and $5 to this guy who accepted them. There's been a few unusual happenings at the Melbourne meetings and it usually involves Captain Kookaburra.
