I managed to get a couple preordered on apmex for 32, can't wait to get them, anyone else get them, hopefully it'll be like the kangaroo or koola, it's lower mintage, and hopefully design whill chagne every year
I only got one, also from Apmex for $34.77 plus $9.95 shipping for a total of $44.72, and I feel good about it too, it is a super cool Perth Mint design (IMHO). I don't really care if it's value goes up from here or down, it is a unique coin with an amazing Australian creature featured.
I liked the look of it, even though I haven't bought Perth Mint since the milk spots started turning up I thought I would get some to give as gifts. Logged on to my Perth Mint account and it has become deactivated because I haven't used it for so long, I have to go through the verification process again which is something that I cannot be bothered to do. They do look nice though, I hope they are as nice in hand without all the milk spots.
Are you guys going to bother getting a graded one, Apmex has one for $100 with first strike, I always thought that graded bullion wasn't a good idea at 3x the regular price of ungraded, i tried to find some of the other first strike coins from the perth mint, and they don't seem to go for 100 USD on ebay, so I'm not really sure.
I ordered a box of 100s from LPM at $26 delivered. They shipped within two days of payment. The US guys are still on presell.
They always start low when they first release. It was two weeks ago, obviously pricing for a popular products moves.
No way. They started at spot +$8 but it went up within a few hours. The first few people who brought got a deal.
These online companies all seem to do it. I couldn’t imagine the demand they have to lift prices two hours into a new release
