It was a great offer from eBay, I sold a few items and brought some Lunar dogs. Thanks to everyone that brought some of my items. They will be posted off Friday morning.

A month and a half ago you could have purchased as much as you want at that price.

They were slammed with orders so there was a bit of a backlog for them filling orders. I didn't have to wait too long, and their estimated delivery dates listed at the time accommodated the expected backlog and wait on new Dogs to arrive in stock, so all things considered it was fine for me

Ordered on the 18th and it arrived before Oct 1 so pretty standard really, but if you just sent them a message they would have told you and updated you

    I am still waiting.

Tracking info has just appeared this afternoon on the Aust Post website.

I understand that there is a backlog however the communication from the sellers needs to improve.

I was close to opening an ebay case until the tracking appeared today.

Have a look at one of your purchases and the tracking details should be on it.

I had multiples also and it only shows up on one if they were all sent together.

Mine was marked sent on the 6th also but the tracking only showed this afternoon.

    I was starting to panic.

I also bought from them on 21/09 and the parcel arrived today.

18 days to receive an item posted from a suburb which is about a 45 minute drive from here!

Anyway, it did finally get here and I wasn't really worried, but I agree with Yuripuka that their communication could be a whole lot better.

If you just sent them a message through eBay they generally answer pretty quick

Guess I got lucky with my orders coming relatively quickly, well about 10-15 days which was fine as I knew there was a bit of a delay

One thing you guys need to take note of when buying is on the listing page just below the BIT button it gives you an estimated delivery date. I noticed that when I placed my orders the estimations where longer than normal, so they did that to let us know it would take longer, but I'm betting most people didn't even look at that, and are just expecting to receive their items a week after ordering

Thanks for you comments - I understand the frustration but in our defense, we took the approach of offering unlimited quantities to allow everyone regardless of stock on hand with even recently released products where limited amounts were available to order from the mint on release so that anyone could benefit from the sale and discount on offer

Many, many overlooked the extended handling times and then when the Mint informed us of the delay in production or availability which we have in an email, of the 1oz Gold Dogs, 10oz Lunar Dogs and 1kg Lunar Dogs, our whole order was held up for shipment.

We paid escalated delivery with Prosegur and then we sent all delayed orders Express Services all at our expense to make up time

We tried to do our best to offer the benefits to all, we even contacted the mint to ensure stock was on hand, but it did become difficult with some things beyond our control when that proved to be not the case

And communication was regular and fast, and we see the users here saying otherwise though unsure why that has been said

End of the day, products have arrived before or on the ETA date, we had the timeframes all set just in case and we delivered hundreds of products to buyers who had them in their hand even within a week of ordering. And then with such high value going out there are split deliveries for Security and safety with the courier services - services we don’t normally engage on a Friday which we did on the 6th

We will take it on board and assess for next time how we better can manage while still offering - but the volumes we got we can say that even other dealers didn’t have those quantities in stock as we checked when searching for alternative options to speed up the process - but perhaps it will mean that many miss out as we offer less. But we had it all clear and marked in the listings. And despite the frustration which we also felt mixed with some public holidays thrown in - it was rewarding.

Hope the extra info helps appreciate the circumstances more fully. Most importantly so many products people were able to obtain at amazing prices.

    We tried.

Exactly and we did reply with personal responses to each that asked but the timeframes for handling we assumed people had seen

Just some feedback for next time: Most people don't look at the handling times (not your fault) so maybe next time it's probably best to mention it in the actual listing, because everyone reads the listing

Thanks for such a great offer. It was highly appreciative, and I look forward to seeing what you can offer forum members in the future once you get registered here :)

I’m sorry, we don’t appear to have any outstanding eBay communications. Just checked. Please contact us again via there so we can investigate why as we have been trying to reply in real time though we do have different product specialists regularly accessing the same avenue - we then allocate messages

Our sincere apologies. Not the norm

I think you did a pretty good job myself. I bought a couple of items and like you say I didn't look/notice the delay times either. In the end I got my goods within a reasonable time frame, so all I can say is a big thank you.

Edited to be a little more polite...

Selling items that you dont have is not helping everyone to get their chance to buy one, its GREED by a big bullion dealer to take the ebay market from the regular guy.....

and then they DONT EVEN POST THEM ON TIME....

If only they only sold what THEY ACTUALLY HAD like the rest of us....!

Thank-you. That is a perspective or thought not considered - will take that on board for next time - but Apmex, MCM, etc in markets like the US on eBay? It wasn’t a motivation and never imagined that offering new release items primarily would be stealing from the little guys - we just had the status to obtain what extra we needed, and in some products the allocation to offer.

But eBay does entitle pre-orders to be taken and if it arrives by the Estimated Delivery date, is that not the primary outcome? Nearly everyone selected only standard post too - no selecting faster or secure shipping options. We added that free for orders shipped - even when we weren’t faced with making up for some lost time by those reasons already mentioned above.

Anyway, many thoughts and differing opinions as always in this forum.

Perhaps just leaving off mentioning anything or promoting it here on SS is the best approach for us if it happens again

    All feedback, so ty
