I am reminded of Fake News and CNN. These SGT report videos go back to mid 2010. I have metals (since 2007). I have some humility. Noobs beware!
Bob Chapman was the one who 'got me' way back then......I was so convinced of 'End of the world'. I used to listen to his interveiws for hours and hours and hours. Then he mysteriously died of 'natural causes' within about 2 weeks. You gotta remember that this was before 'crypto's' were even created so PM's were the last hard currency left on the planet. Now that we have crypto's 'everyone' is jumping on the bandwagon just like we did in 2011 expecting PM's to go 'to the moon'!!!
Yep I have the same feeling. Funny how people always think the same way. I laugh when I hear people say things like "bitcoin will be worth a million dollars when everyone in the world uses it. Only now you have a bunch of kids living with their parents that think they are crypto experts and pumping out crypto videos on YouTube every day. What a joke it all is.
The crash predictions were going on for a long time before I could finally afford to buy PMs in 2007. I surely bought into a fair amount of what was simply hype from bullion sales people in the industry. (Yes, yes, PM fundamentals I've known about since 2002) It is striking that kids with wild cryptocurrency dreams could the first thing that comes to mind when looking back at precious metals prediction/pump banners. The crypto kids and the precious metals "experts"!. I make this post as a warning to noobs. Have your metals but don't sucker for the continuing and shameless precious metals hype few have the backbone to acknowledge. Am I predicting the future?...obviously not.
Thanks for the array of great predictions in the pics above. I've probably watched all of those videos in my time. I just hope I can get to sleep tonight without getting a ST!%% from all of the excitement. Lol. _JLG.
Ohhh yes....I remember some of them too...and will admit to being a noob sucker for some of the hype.
Well just to be fair on those last 2.... QE4 is in fact looking like the last nail in the coffin in a lot of ways - unless they have the hubris for QE5..? It's a bit like socialist countries that haven't been around too long. It takes a long time for the corrupt system to finally eat through all the strength of the old capitalist economy (Like Venezuela finally did with help from Maduro). You don't know when it'll happen, but I don't see any way it can be maintained.
In today's information age, it has never been faster or easier to do research. It has also never been more important to be able to evaluate sources for credibility. I prefer to rely on published government data. For an accurate silver, gold and platinum forecast I recommend world bank data. See page 2 for price forecast in constant US dollars: http://pubdocs.worldbank.org/en/662641493046964412/CMO-April-2017-Forecasts.pdf
The irony: I have no doubt the World Bank has been producing much more reliable data over the last few decades than the sales men SGT gives a platform to.
Its been going on for years, the whole doom and gloom and ' Silver to the moon. " I do think SGT Report is worth listening to though. Still a lot of useful information and up to date .
I still listen to some shows on various topics. I call out the shameless price predictions and have offered to take a bet on silver prices with Sean (SGT) earlier this year over "$144/oz silver" if I recall the ludicrous number correctly, due about now!! lol. I am one of the few I see that calls SGT out, and I will absolutely put my money where my mouth is. I've never heard Sean calling his return guests out for their pathetic predictions from past years. I regard this as a lack of integrity on Sean's behalf and also on some his deluded guests.
I invest using my own due diligence, not using youtube for advice. There is more to the SGT report than predicting commodity or Crypto prices. I enjoy most of the guests that participate on his Chanel.
The advice does not come from Youtube! Youtube provides a censored video sharing platform and does not offer advice on precious metals markets. I would not touch the prediction advice of anyone of the people SGT hosts a this point. The track record is shameful at best with some of it possibly being purposeful lies promoted to get people to buy large on precious metals, IMHO. Yes, some guest speak on variant topics. Not all bad, some good! (NOT ALL....as always)
I have rewarded SGT for good work with tips in bitcoin in the past. I have also rewarded SGT with Steem tips as I now watch his videos via the Steemit platform under user halfasheep. SGT is very familiar with me. I both praise his work and call him out.
