Would anyone be interested in any of these, can be used for testing silver or just messing around. I have scrapped them out of hard drives and CD/DVD drives etc. Two very distinct sizes. Small squares around 5mm, or some attached to a metal plate around 25-35mm Just keen to see if anyone is interested. Probably looking for around $8ea. with standard delivery included.
I get some of these out of speakers I destroy, they are awesome to play with, but watch yourself they can hurt like a b**ch
quick question. I have some to test my silver buys. Would smaller ones (5mm) do the same job as bigger ones to test 10oz or kg bars or would it be a case of bigger magnets for bigger bars and if so what size?
Not to refute your business acumen, but you can get them way cheaper on ebay. Furthermore, I know exactly the type of magnet you are talking about as I take apart and destroy old HDD's for work, and without cutting/filing off the 'legs' on the sides it would be kinda awkward to make good contact with the metal you want to test.
But then again, thats just my opinion. Sorry for the tone I started with, didn't mean to come across.so 'anti' haha
Haha. Ok well I keep a keen eye on your auctions incase anything you have for sale is available elsewhere cheaper. Sorry obviously not meaning to sound rude.
Yeah, I regretted hitting send. I clearly wasn't thinking. But I personally feel that a reminder of re-thinking things is always a bonus so I don't really delete things I post as something to look back on. And if you want, go ahead! It can be our 'moment'
