Bought this on Amazon kindle under 4 bucks. I don't normally read investing "books" but someone I know into stocks recommended it to me.

Very short read but good "general" info. I wish I had read it back in 2011. Authors give some interesting insight on some of the PM "gurus" with info about them I hadn't heard of before. One guy who I won't mention, was allegedly banned for life from trading futures by the CFTC and fined big $$$ for unlawful futures trading practices, is now a popular "manipulation" guru who is very anti CFTC, etc.

For those who consider themselves "gold or silver bugs", I would recommend for under 4 bucks to read.

On a long haul flight today so just downloaded it.

The banned trader wasn't Bill Murphy was it? Guess I'll find out soon enough.

I would say this is an accurate book review.

One important "lesson" I took away from the book was "signals vs. noise". Very important to know the difference.

PS Almost everything you will read on PM pumper sites is "noise".

PSS This book also helped me to realize I have been to much "micro" and not enough "macro". In other words, I was not seeing the forest for the trees as they say. Has helped me a bit already in some non-investment related decisions.

    Thanks for the recommendation.
There's so much conflicting information out there, hope to get a bit of level headed insight.
Purchased the yellow paperback today :)
Is there any difference between the yellow and blue cover book? Besides the colour.......
    Cheers
