    All the best for the new arrival - all I can say is, I'm glad i don't have to do all that child rearing business again. But it is something you'd never replace or replicate. if you need any advice, just PM me, I am a fuckin great mum. :p

    Let's see how long that lasts while the pelican is otherwise occupied he he he

    I have had it commented that my avatar and the above baby snap are astonishingly similar (at least in profile), but there is no way that we are the same bird.

    How can you tell the difference between GP and CK? ... CK is the one without bags under his eyes. ;)

    In my family - it was a tradition to give a child a silver shilling at their birth.

    Luckily, that little nipper has a hell of a lot more than that waiting! :D

    Thanks everyone. Was a C-section so we're in hospital for a bit longer yet, so I'll still be away from the forum for a more few days - haven't had a chance to go through any of the backlog of PMs or emails waiting for me.

    Bub and Mum doing well. Dad - he's a bit frazzled. Grandparents have lost about 10 years looking after the 2yo daughter all week :lol:
