Spam attack

    The forum seems to be under attack from spammers the last 24 hours.

    * Please use the "Report" function to notify administration if you see a spam post.
    * If the spam is a new thread, please feel free to make a post saying "Reported" underneath so that it is not excessively reported - when the spam account is deleted, all threads started by the spammer are deleted, including replies.
    * If the spam has been added onto the end of an existing legitimate thread, please do not post anything underneath in relation to the spam - your posts will remain after the spammer is deleted, and will be confusing to later readers of the posts. This creates additional moderation work to clean up if it is caught at all.

    Will do GP - I regularly use the Report link but haven't posted "reported" on a new thread so as not to alert spammer nor inadvertently bump the thread - but I can see if I did, it would help lessen the deluge of other people doing the same as me!

    Shall do that from now on ;)

    Just a suggestion. I've installed FluxBB for a few of my clients, and I've used the Captcha Add-on. It can be configured for registration and posts. It does stop most spam, as they tend to use automated tools to post.

    Already configured for registration - do you really want to have to enter a CAPTCHA code on every post?

    Have been attack tonight by cyber porn.
    Have reported but then someone load post into it. All channels have being spam.

    It's an old post (last years) when he was auspm.

    Auspm still showing as suspended on other parts of the forum.
